A Farewell from Rory
After 26 years in the hairdressing industry, and 11 wonderful years as the owner of Authentically You Hair, the time has come for Rory to begin a new chapter.
Throughout his career, Rory has been passionate about creating a truly personal salon experience, ensuring every client left not only looking their best but feeling valued and cared for. His journey has included advanced training with Schwarzkopf, Trevor Sorbie and My New Hair, alongside specialising in medical hair loss, supporting clients experiencing chemotherapy and alopecia with compassion and understanding.
Alongside salon life, Rory has been privileged to work as part of an artistic team for a professional product company, delivering shows and education, before discovering his passion for teaching. He now looks forward to a career in education, inspiring and training the next generation of hairdressers and barbers, whilst also pursuing a lifelong ambition of studying Classical Studies at university.
To every client who placed their trust in him, shared their stories, laughter and life's milestones over the years—thank you. Your support has meant more than words can ever express and will never be forgotten.

For over seven years, Daisy has been an integral part of Authentically You Hair, building a loyal client base and establishing herself as an exceptionally talented stylist. Throughout her career, she has earned industry recognition through multiple awards, reflecting both her creativity and technical skill.
Daisy has a real passion for colour, whether it's maintaining beautiful, natural results or creating bespoke transformations tailored to each individual. She also loves styling hair for weddings and special occasions, helping clients look and feel their very best for life's biggest moments.
Known for her warm, friendly nature, Daisy makes every client feel relaxed from the moment they sit in her chair. She takes the time to understand each person's style, ensuring every appointment is a personalised experience with results that leave clients feeling confident and beautiful.
As she begins this exciting new chapter with Colneford Studio, clients can continue to expect the same care, professionalism and passion that she has always brought to Authentically You Hair.

Polly – Senior Stylist
Although Polly joined the Authentically You family in 2024, she quickly became an invaluable part of our team. Bringing with her over 20 years of experience, she shared an incredible wealth of knowledge, skill and professionalism with both clients and colleagues alike.
Known for her exceptional cutting skills, particularly in short hair, Polly has a real talent for creating beautifully tailored styles—from timeless graduated bobs to confident, modern pixie cuts. Her calm nature, attention to detail and genuine care for her clients have made her a much-loved stylist within the salon.
As Authentically You closes its doors, Polly is taking some well-deserved time to enjoy precious moments with her son as he begins primary school—a chapter that is just as special as any career milestone.
